StarWorld opens Inagiku

The StarWorld Hotel and Casino has been playing catch-up in the market for quality Japanese dining, but the wait has been worth it for Inagiku. The superb restaurant opened yesterday as part of the StarWorld's 1st Anniversary celebrations, with a bevvy of beautiful celebrities on hand.

Starlets such as Gigi Lai, Niki Chow, Rain Lee and supermodel Kathy Chow were on hand to taste cuisine specially created by executive chef Mitsubori Koji.

The famous chain’s first branch in Macau has chosen a uniquely refreshing English décor in which to serve up its tempura and kaiseki menus.

A star-rated Japanese restaurant with a proud heritage, Inagiku was originally established in Asakusa in 1866. Its unique Ozashiki style of cooking – in tatami-decorated rooms before guests – has wowed business leaders, politicians, celebrities and artists from all over the world.

Inagiku has created three new signature dishes to celebrate StarWorld’s 1st Anniversary, including a superb grilled lobster with sesame sauce, deep-fried herame with mushroom sauce” and boiled puffer egg with radish sauce.

In recent years Inagiku has established new branches in Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Manila, Bali and Dalian.
