Finally, someone has done it: brought back the spirit of the old Embassy Bar at the Mandarin by providing a venue where the beers are cold and the dancers are hot.

The Monkey Bar at the Grand Waldo is the place to go for both corporate gigs and stag nights, with ample capacity for big events and enough privacy in the booths for a few friends to enjoy themselves discreetly.

The interior is well designed, with a big, circular bar in the middle and giant TV screens. Poles are scattered around the room for the Monkey Bar’s stars to strut their stuff on demand. VIPs will be well taken care of here, with a special section at the back that has its own dedicated bar staff.

It’s okay, gents, you can take your girlfriend here. It’s a good step up from what has gone before it in the Macau nightlife market.
