More room at Sands

The Sands Macao invited guests and celebrities including Andy Hui, George Lam and Teresa Carpio to mark the opening of 238 new suites on the Macau peninsula over the weekend.

The hotel, which will formally open later this month, offers 204 deluxe suites (600-650 sq. ft.) with plasma TVs, private Jacuzzi and high-speed wireless internet access. An additional 34 executive suites are about twice the size with separate living areas. The hotel also offers guests an outdoor, heated pool.

When the hotel is fully complete, the Sands Hotel will also offer seven restaurants and bars. The Sands Macao first opened in 2004 with 51 Paiza presidential suites.
