 Good whisky, cool vibesTemptations, on level 16 of the StarWorld hotel, is one of the most popular places for drinks and good music in the evenings. There are actually three areas here: the inner sanctum of the Whisky Bar, where you can smoke cigars with the pinstripe brigade and have a quiet chat over one of more than 50 single malts, including the Macallan 1946; the main bar, where you can make a more gradual transition with signature drinks including Tom Yung Gong vodka and Mai Tai cocktails; and the lounge, where a Filipino band and DJ keep the tunes coming. DJ Sammy plays some really good tunes - a mix of reggae, slow rock and pop in the evenings in between the live entertainment from Session 16. The band plays from 9:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. on weekdays and from 9:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. on weekends. Temptations and Whisky Bar  |
