Chef Hiro descends upon Okada

Wynn Macau's signature Japanese restaurant - Okada - recently welcomed Chef Hirofumi Imamura (a.k.a. Chef Hiro) from Las Vegas. His creative new dishes and youthful appearance breathe fresh new life into the restaurant.

"Many people - especially the suppliers - don't believe that I'm the person in charge here," he says with a radiant smile. "But I'm very strict and would always point out to them what's right or what's not good; and eventually they're convinced."

Okada prides itself on providing the best Japanese cuisine and naturally the ingredients are chosen with great care. Beef and fish are flown in directly from Australia, the U.S. and Japan. The restaurant specializes in teppanyaki, robata dining and sushi.
