According to the Gemological Institute of America, the 218.08-carat diamond is the largest cushion shaped internally flawless D-color diamond in the world. In his unveiling speech, Dr. Ho said that the diamond, which is named after him, reflects SJM’s timeless commitment to Macau.

At 85, Stanley Ho is still regarded as the king of Macau’s entertainment and gaming business. Even as the competition heats up in Macau with the opening of The Venetian on August 28, chances are this star will shine for a very long time.
