DRAGONEDRAGONE, the Las Vegas-based entertainment group renowned for its high-energy, creative productions put on a stunning performance the night the Crown Macau opened on May 12 (see our video clip). Acrobats, dancers, tumblers, jugglers, contortionists, fire-blowers, and more held the audience entralled for nearly an hour, until the screen behind the stage was lowered to show a thunderous fireworks display over the harbor reflecting off the Crown. DRAGONE, the brainchild of Frank Dragone, has been captivating visitors to Caesar's Palace for the past three years, and it is easy to see why. The show will have a permanent home at Melco-PBL's second Macau property, the City of Dreams on Cotai, toward the end of next year. Together with Cirque du Soleil at the Venetian, which opens later this summer, the caliber of shows such as DRAGONE will undoubtedly catapult Macau into another level of sophistication. |
