O Manel: taste of Taipa

This tiny but well-established restaurant near Taipa Village has been enjoying a good reputation for many years, but not necessarily for its ambience. The excellent Portuguese-style cuisine is expertly prepared and may even be served by proprietor Manel himself, who puts his heart into specialties like grilled prawns, steak “Manel style,” and seafood rice.
